As I mentioned, I sold my farm despite the disappointment of a Farmville pig. So, no more plots, no more grain silos and barns, no more animals to tend to, no more withering crops, no more trees to pick from. I also do not want to leave it with "unfinished" chores so I took out all those that would require tending. What I did was place right in the center of the space the things that would be "essential" in the event that I drop by or visit a previously owned land for a vacation.
So right next to my cottage is a LIBRARY. The constantly perfect weather in my farm makes it perfect to spend hours outdoors just reading a book. And since I would have plenty of time, I would need an entire library to make sure I never run of things to read. And then whenever I come back to the city, I take older books I have read and sell them. Upon returning to the farm, I replenish with newer books XD
And so that I do not burn my skin for staying under the sun for too long, I naturally got myself a rest area where I can read, or perhaps nap, or simply enjoy some coffee or tea or watermelon XD

Near the library is a small pond. I think some body of water is also essential in a place of relaxation (^.^)
I also need my supply of milk so I have containers of it at the back of my house. To add a happy touch to the outside, I placed a huge bunch of balloons. This also becomes the main decor or highlight whenever I invite people over for some barbecue. For such occasions, I placed a picnic table and a grill too.
These are just the very few items I left behind in my farm. I also want to enjoy the vast space (^^,)
